About the Author

T.S. Wolff is a poet and storyteller living in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. She’s endlessly fascinated by human nature and the strange things people will do in the right (or wrong) circumstances. All Things Sane is her first collection of poetry and she is at work on a young adult fantasy novel. When not writing, Wolff is trying to think of something to make for dinner, tending her herd of children, or moving her perennials for the millionth time.

"Like a diary left open on a bed, All Things Sane pulls you in and keeps you up all night."

Suffused with cigarette smoke, late night whispers, joy rides, and prairie hikes, these poems are an intimate confession of one young woman's first taste of love and the confusion and doubt that accompany it. Anyone who's ever experienced a tumultuous relationship will find themselves at home in these pages.

PROLOGUE

Once, when I was a child
before I had a woman's body
someone, somewhere
a man
I can't remember who
looked me up and down
and said
someday
you are going to make
someone
very happy.
And I believed him.
